FASHION DESIGNER • ZERO WASTE FASHION DESIGN EDUCATOR
Zsuzsanna Bistei
A constraint is not an obstacle — it is a compass.
Depth of thought opens the field of possibilities.
PHILOSOPHY
Form speaks.
Material responds.
Design is a dialogue.
ABOUT
Design, for me, is not object‑making —
but a sensitive dialogue with body, form, and material,
where responsibility and creative freedom coexist.Creative intuition, technical knowledge,
design development,
and experimentation with unconventional materials
are mutually refining forces.A key element of my work is the communication
between 2D and 3D —
the continuous conversation
between flat construction and spatial form‑building.I developed my reflective, research‑driven approach
at the London College of Fashion, Womenswear —
a mindset I now teach in a personalised way
at AgoMedArt Studio.
Learning here is intellectual, technical, and hands‑on.

THE LAYERS OF DESIGN
01.
Pattern Cutting
Form is a starting point.
A line is a decision.
02.
SEWING TECHNOLOGY
Sewing is the soul of construction —
precision, discipline, rhythm.
03.
TEXTILE MANIPULATIONS
Textile is alive.
It bends, resists, stretches, transforms.
04.
zero waste design
Zero Waste is not technique —
it is attitude.
Every decision has consequences.
05.
2D–3D TRANSLATION
The flat plane is illusion.
Space is reality.
Construction begins where paper ends.
06.
Design Development
Concept‑building, iterations, prototypes,
the visual organisation of thought.
METHOD
A constraint inspires.
A line decides.
Form begins.
